2017 Big Game Battle

Location: Nantucket, MA We are proud to once again sponsor The Big Game Battle this year and to help fight Leukemia with our contribution to the Dana-Farber Cancer Research Institute and The Jimmy Fund. “The Big Game Battle” is an Invitational Fishing Tournament held in August on the historic island of Nantucket. The tournament was conceived by a group of weekend warriors looking for another excuse to spend time on the water fishing and participating in the Island festivities. The event was started in 2002 with three boats. In 2017 there are 54 registered to participate and the waiting list is full! The Big Game Battle supports a charity every year. Past charities include: Juvenile Diabetes, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, The Boys and Girls Club of Dorchester, The Nantucket S.T.A.R. Program, ALS, Camp Harbor View, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, and The International Rett Syndrome Foundation. This year the tournament is working with The Dana-Farber Cancer Research Institute and The Jimmy Fund to support Leukemia Research and Patient Care.
