ABOUT

expand

Don't miss this unique opportunity to own a beautiful downeast style yacht at a great price! The Legacy 40 Express is a very comfortable cruiser designed by Mark Ellis of sailboat and powerboat fame. Her sharp entry on the bow parts the waves and she has a v bottom with wide chine flats, lifting strakes and a skeg which lifts the hull up onto plane at only 12 knots providing a soft, comfortable ride. Her hull design is very efficient in terms of speed and fuel consumption. Roll is minimized and the boat tracks well. This Legacy 40 Express by Freedom Yachts burns 22.6 gallons of fuel per hour at 21.4 knots cruising speed. Sound insulation package consists of baffling, foam and lead shielding. Lifeline netting can be easily installed around the bow area to protect small children or pets. This is a one owner boat!
